33-Year-Old Engineer Dies After Dog Attack In Ilorin…Owner Arrested
A young man , Mohammed Faworaja, who is in his thirties, has died as a result of the dog attack incident recorded in Ilorin , the Kwara state capital.
Mohammed, an engineer, who lived in Asa Dam area, Warah-Osin , Ilorin West Local Government, was said to have been attacked by a German Shepherd dog
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Mohammed had gone to buy sardine and he was returning home when the dog shockingly and surprisingly attacked him and he had tried to escape from the animal who was ready to unleash its fury by quickly taking to his heels.
He however sadly ran into an electric pole and died.
‘The dog, a German shepherd, got loose and chased the deceased engineer who ran into an electric pole. He died of internal bleeding and the canned fish (Sardine) which he had gone to buy was seen beside the pole at the scene of the incident.
He was a very friendly man and cannot be more than 33 years of age. He was the breadwinner of the family. The police are involved in the matter. You need to hear the dad speak during one of the prayer sessions organized for the repose of his soul. The father, having retired from service, had handed everything over to him. The family is devastated’ a source ,who spoke on condition of anonymity, said.
Spokesman for the Kwara state police command, Mr. Ajayi Okasanmi, a Superintendent of Police, said the owner of the dangerously out of control dog has been arrested and taken into custody.
