PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar met with Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state in London on Thursday.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned Governor Seyi Makinde , Governor Samuel Ortom , Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and Governor Ahmadu Fintiri also attended the meeting.
Atiku’s former boss, ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo had earlier in the day met with Wike in company of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi.
It will be recalled that APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu had a day earlier held a closed-door meeting with the Rivers state governor.
Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, Wike had sought for the PDP presidential nomination but lost this to Atiku in the presidential primary election held at the Eagle Square, Abuja in May.
The Rivers state governor had later sought to get named as Vice Presidential candidate but Atiku eventually chose Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, a development that got Wike incensed- Team@orientactualmags.com
