Saying ‘No’ To Gov Sanwo-Olu’s Cabinet Nominees Not ‘Offbeat’, ‘Unseemly’-Lagos Assembly

The Lagos state House of Assembly submitted on Monday that the parliament is at liberty to ‘reject’ cabinet nominees who have not done well in respect of carrying out their duties in the previously held offices.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Speaker Mudasiru Obasa said this during the plenary session he presided over on Monday, adding that the House of assembly would not succumb to any form of intimidation, including ‘sponsored protests by some civil society groups and activists’ , noting that what the parliament had done ‘is in tandem with the constitution’.
‘If they have not done well we have the right to say ‘no’ and we have said ‘no’, so we are not going be threatened.
It is good to advise the man living in a glass house not to throw stones if not, the glass may soon be shattered.
So that is my position on what has been going on from the protest being planned, to the write-ups, and the TV series’ Obasa said-Team@orientactualmags.com
