The Acting Vice-Chancellor of Kwara state University, Malete, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, has on behalf of the Management, Staff and Students at the institution, congratulated Mrs. Mary Arinde on her appointment as Commissioner of Tertiary Education by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

Professor Jimoh in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by Acting Director, University Relations, Dr. Saeedat Aliyu, described Mrs. Arinde as a committed Kwaran, who is passionate about setting goals and achieving them, adding that her being assigned to the Tertiary Education Ministry ‘is an excellent move by the state governor’.
The statement added that Mrs. Arinde has an exemplary track record of excellent service delivery, asserting that the ‘new role’ she has gotten was in recognition of her experience, commitment, and track record.
Jimoh cited her immense value to the work of the council and that of the university as a member of the last Governing Council of the institution.
While wishing the new commissioner a worthy and successful tenure, the acting VC also urged her to continue to bring her wealth of experience and commitment to bear in her new role.
