Why I ‘ll Never Recognize Tinubu As My President- Aisha Yesufu

A social activist, Aisha Yesufu, has disclosed that she will never recognize Asiwaju  Bola Tinubu  as  her president. 

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Aisha  said this on Saturday night  in a ‘Mic On’ podcast titled, ‘The PEPC Judgment: Hopes met or dashed’  which was hosted by Channels TV presenter, Seun Okinbaloye.

Yesufu was quoted as alleging that  President Tinubu  achieved presidency through electoral fraud  and because of that, he will never be recognized as her president.

‘Tinubu did not win the 2023 presidential election and will never be my president because he rigged his way to be declared the one with the majority votes. And as for me, that is a political coup. That is a civilian coup and it is the mandate of the people that was stolen. My focus and that of other Nigerians now is to ensure  that we get the mandate back’ she said.

She  also picked holes in the rulings of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on the petitions filed by the LP, PDP and the APM.

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal had delivered judgments in favour of  the ruling APC, President Bola Tinubu and Mr Peter Obi  last week Wednesday. While the former Anambra state governor’s membership of the Labour Party (LP),  and his nomination  as presidential candidate was affirmed, President Tinubu’s election victory was also ‘validated’.

Aisha Yesuf is a supporter and loyalist of Mr Peter Obi.

‘I stayed for over 13 hours in the court and I heard all the judgment read by the Supreme Court justices. It was all a movie.

And there was a thriller before the movie, it began when the former Supreme Court justice, Mary Odili spoke. It already preempted what we expected’ she said.

 ‘There was a need for people to see how it has been going rather than just hearing the judgment only.

The joy on the faces of the judges showed that they were biased. They acted more like counsels for the respondents; President Tinubu, All Progressives Congress and VP Kashim Shettima. The politicians always believe that they control the court that is why they are quick to tell people to go to court if they are not  satisfied with the results of elections’ Aisha added-Team@orientactualmags.com
