In Picture: Oyetola Returns To Nigeria After Attending 78th UN General Assembly in New York
Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, has returned to Nigeria after attending the 78th United Nations General Assembly in New York, United States of America.
The 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly was held between September 17 and 22, 2023.
He had joined counterparts from other countries to attend the ministerial meeting on Atlantic Cooperation on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the United States had launched a co-operation pact with countries touching the Atlantic Ocean in Europe and Africa as it seeks to ramp up economic, environmental and scientific ties across the region.
The ministerial meeting on Atlantic Cooperation which was at the instance of the US government, focused on partnership for Atlantic Cooperation.
Oyetola has returned to the country on Monday morning .
It was Oyetola’s second ‘global engagement’ since becoming Blue Economy minister on August 21, 2023 .
He had a few days ago represented Nigeria at the 13th Port State Control Committee meeting of the Abuja Memorandum of Understanding on Port State Control for West and Central Africa region (Abuja MoU), in Côte d’Ivoire -Team@orientactualmags.com
