In Pictures: New Lagos HOS Assumes Duty, Promises To Prioritize Welfare Of Workers
The new Head of Service, Lagos state, Bode Agoro, assumed duty in Lagos on Tuesday.
He had gotten named as Hakeem Muri-Okunola’s replacement sequel to his resignation on September 29.
Agoro is the 22nd HOS in Lagos state.
He has promised to continue to ensure good welfare support and an enabling working environment for all public servants in the state.
‘Welfare of public servants is a priority because things are very hard and difficult for everyone, we need to make life better for everyone by ensuring that we cascade down adequate welfare to public servants.
Welfare to me is two things, personal and professional, professional is constant training and retraining of staff, because if you do not train the civil servants, who are the backbone of the government, you are creating a problem in the system’ he said.
Agoro has also urged the workforce to cooperate and liaise with their respective Permanent Secretaries while soliciting their support and cooperation for him to record success in his new role-Team@orientactualmags.com
