Ogun Electoral Commission To Hold Bye-Election In Ward 10 October 26
The Ogun state Independent Electoral Commission, OGSIEC, has announced that a bye-election for the vacant Councillorship seat in Ilado, Ward 10, Odogbolu Local Government, will be held on Thursday, October 26.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Chairman of OGSIEC, Mr. Babatunde Osibodu, made this announcement during the ‘stakeholder meeting’ attended by representatives of political parties, security agencies, and other relevant stakeholders in the Odogbolu local government.
The bye-election was sequel to the death of the former councilor, Mr. Olufemi Taiwo,
During the meeting, OGSIEC Chairman, represented by Gbemi Onasanya, stated the commission’s commitment to ensuring a free, fair, and credible election.
