A medical doctor, Nwaopara Uche, who stole hospital beds at the Immanuel General Hospital and the Immanuel Psychiatric Hospital, Eket Local Government, Akwa Ibom state, and had them taken to the private hospital he established, has gotten a two-year sentence.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Uche was convicted along with 28-year-old Kubiat Isidore and 35-year-old Felix Ekwere , who conspired with him to steal the said medical equipment at the Immanuel General Hospital.
Felix Ekwere was a security guard at the hospital in question and he was seen while taking some of the stolen hospital beds away from the hospital at night.
39-year-old Nwaopara Uche, a native of Mbiere , Mbaitoli LGA , Imo state, is said to have used his position as the Medical Superintendent of Immanuel Psychiatric Hospital to commit the crime.
Delivering judgment in the suit HEK/13C/2023, Hon. Justice Nsemeke Daniel of Akwa Ibom state High Court convicted the medical doctor of stealing and conspiracy.
