Kwara Political Bigwigs, Businessmen, Others Present As Razaq Owolabi And Asabe Exchange Marriage Vows In Ilorin…Roll Call At Wedding Reception

Chairman, Committee on Health, Kwara state House of Assembly, Hon Razaq Owolabi,  on Saturday tied the knot with Hajia Umul-Khair Asabe Kperogi  at a wedding ceremony that was attended by political bigwigs , businessmen and businesswomen, traditional rulers and other prominent personalities in the State of Harmony

.

Dignitaries at the event include the state Deputy Governor, Mr. Kayode Alabi, Chairman, Senate Committee on Agriculture, Senator Salihu Mustapha, Senator Sadiq Umar, Rep Raheem Olawuyi ‘Ajulo opin’ , Kwara state APC Chairman, Prince  Sunday Fagbemi, members of the state House of Assembly, former state lawmakers, Alhaji Razaq Jiddah, APC Chairman, Ifelodun local government,  Hon Abdul Lateef Qadri, Hon Olalekan Alabi, and  Engineer Oyinlola Oyinloye. 

Traditional rulers including the Loma of Babaloma , Oba Mohammed Usman–Ayilara,  also attended the event.

The bride, Hajia Ummul-Khair Asabe is the daughter of Hajia Halimat Jummai  and late  Alhaji Salihu Kperogi.

The bride’s mother, Hajia Halimat Jummai Kperogi , now retired, served as Clerk of the state House of Assembly until July this year.

Hon Razaq Olatunde Owolabi, who represents Share/Oke-Ode Constituency, Ifelodun local government, became a member of the state House of Assembly in 2019.

  After falling in love with each other, the couple decided to exchange vows on Saturday and a nikkah ceremony was held at the Atlantic Event Palace, Ilorin while the wedding reception was also held at the same venue.

Alexander Abolore Adegbola Akande, who is popularly called  9ice and  Alhaji Taiye Currency, a popular fuji smusician, were on the bandstand.

  To celebrate the occasion, the couple had begun by taking  to the dance floor  as Nice sang his popular songs while the guests watched in admiration .

Alhaji Taiye  Currency played a dual role at the occasion ; he was the  ‘best man’ and he was later at the bandstand to entertain the guests.
