Special Advisers Reaffirm Loyalty To Gov Nasiru Idris Administration During Meeting In Birni Kebbi
Top government officials in Kebbi state, who are members of Kebbi state Special Advisers’ Forum, have pledged their unalloyed support and loyalty to the current administration in the state headed by Comrade ,Dr. Nasir Idris, the Kauran Gwandu in its quest to better the lives of the people and transform the state.
Members of the forum have also resolved to jointly take steps through proactive coordination, planning and synergy to support Governor Nasir Idris in his effort to develop Kebbi state through the ongoing developmental strides as well as his efforts to reduce poverty in the state.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Yahaya Sarki noted that these were resolutions of the forum’s quarterly meeting, which was presided over by Alhaji Kabiru Sani Giant, Special Adviser on Power and Political Affairs, at the Conference Hall of Cabinet Office, Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday.
‘Members of the forum have noted with satisfaction and enthusiasm the good tempo on infrastructural development with regard to roads construction, drainages , and modern solar streetlights projects, in the state capital, Birnin Kebbi.
We have also commended the recent flag off of the construction of Yauri township roads, distribution of free fertiliser to farmers, among others, which the governor has initiated.
The 52-member forum stated the need to work towards supporting the policies and programmes of the Kauran Gwandu administration by also coming up with an action plan which involves initiating plausible empowerment programmes to support the poverty reduction efforts of Kebbi state government.
The forum has also emphasized the need to synergize with all the stakeholders particularly Commissioners towards achieving its resolutions and objectives.
Other important issues deliberated at the meeting included fostering unity amongst the members of the forum, initiating internal mechanisms to strengthen the forum such as the leadership structure, work plan, as well how to generate revenue among members of the forum, among others.
Earlier in his opening remarks, Alhaji Kabir Sani Gaint had thanked Gov Nasir Idris for the tremendous confidence he reposed in the Special Advisers particularly for appointing them.
Giant also highlighted the good gesture of the governor that has given opportunity to many people to serve in his administration through the appointment of Special Advisers, Commissioners, Senior Special Assistants, Chairmen and members of Boards and Parastatals.
He appealed to all the members to be dedicated, focused and come up with initiatives to support the Kauran Gwandu- led administration.
In a unanimous decision, the members have all endorsed Alhaji Kabiru Sani Giant as the new Chairman of the forum with effect from 14th, November 2023’ the statement submitted-Team@orientactualmags.com
