Kwara : Abdulfatahi Leko Emerges As New APC Chairman In Ifelodun LG, Promises To Strengthen Party, Ensure Unity Among Members
Alhaji AbdulFatai Mustapha Leko, was on Wednesday sworn in as acting chairman of APC in Ifelodun local government , Kwara state in Share, the local government headquarters.
He was until his new appointment, the APC Chairman in Idofian Ward 2.
Recall that a meeting was held earlier in the day during which some party elders and members announced the removal of Alhaji Lateef Qadri as chairman of APC in the local government.
It was however confirmed that the former chairman had dropped his letter of resignation on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
The state APC secretary ,Alhaji Mustapha Ishowo in a telephone interview with Team@orientactualmags.com on Wednesday also said Qadri has resigned from his position.
‘We are one family in the party, there is no cause for alarm, he dropped his letter of resignation yesterday, and he noted that he has resigned from his position’ Alhaji Mustapha Ishowo said.
Alhaji Lateef Qadri also confirmed this in a telephone interview with Team@orientactualmags.com ‘ I have resigned from my position’ he submitted.
The new APC Chairman, Alhaji AbdulFatai Mustapha Leko has promised to unite members of the party in the local government regardless of their views or vested interests.




In a telephone interview with Team@orientactualmags.com on Wednesday, Hon Leko, who promised to ‘strengthen’ the party in the local government, also emphasized the importance of unity submitting that this will stand the party in good stead for future elections-Team@orientactualmags.com
