Gov Adeleke Returns To Nigeria, Says He’s ‘Fit As A Fiddle’
Governor Ademola Adeleke has returned to the country after spending about one month abroad and he has asserted that he is as fit as a fiddle.
The governor’s Special Adviser, Mr Olawale Rasheed in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Wednesday ,said the Osun state Chief Executive, who arrived at the Murtala International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos state, earlier in the day , submitted that he feels refreshed and recharged for more service to the good people of Osun state.
‘I’m elated to be back in Nigeria in the midst of my people. You all can see I’m in an excited mood as I’m now recharged and refreshed to deliver more good governance and service to the people of Osun.
The insinuation of whether I’m sick or otherwise is unfounded. I am as fit as a fiddle. I went on a working vacation to recharge and meet partners for the development and progress of our state.
Those spreading falsehood about my trip are just embarrassed and dumbfounded with our achievements. That’s why they’re spreading all those unfounded rumours.
I’m back now, hale and hearty. The good work continues in Osun’ he was quoted to have told reporters at the airport.
Recall that Governor Ademola Adeleke had last month disclosed that he would be embarking on a short working vacation to Europe and Asia to finalize partnership deals with investors and development partners
Recall also that this had later been made a topical issue with the leading opposition party in the state, the APC, asking the governor’s handlers to come clean about the true situation of things and his whereabouts .
The party had also claimed that contradicting reasons were given as reasons for leaving the country by the governor himself and his spokesman submitting that there were enough reasons to suspect and conclude that the governor was using falsehood to deceive the people of the state which was an indication that he has something to hide.
While appearing as a guest on Fresh FM, Osogbo, Chairman of the state PDP, Chief Sunday Bisi Adeleke had however submitted that there was no cause for alarm adding that the governor will return to the country this week and he had since been proved right sequel to the press release issued by Mr Olawale Rasheed announcing the governor’s return to the country on Wednesday-Team@orientactualmags.com
