Young Woman Found Dead In Adamawa Hotel With Head Severed..She Divorced Her Husband Last Month

The severed head of the  woman who was found dead at Happy Day Guest Inn, Yola , Adamawa state, is yet to be recovered while the police have arrested suspects in connection with the incident.

A  man ,who is yet to be apprehended,  had on January 18, 2024, at about 9:30 p.m. taken the woman  to the hotel in question where he was lodged as a guest, and thereafter beheaded her and took the severed head away.

 It was gathered that the woman had divorced her husband , Mr.  Auwal Garba last month, precisely December, 2023, and he helped in identifying the remains of his estranged wife that was deposited at the Specialist Hospital on Friday.

He also told the police that her name is  Bilkisu Alhaji Idi.

 Garba said they got married about six years ago and have one child together  but however went their separate ways in December 2023, as a result of irreconcilable differences.

 He added that the deceased woman  even called him on the day she was killed at Happy Day Guest Inn, that she wanted to talk to her child, but he informed her that the child is with his grandmother.

 Team@orientactualmags.com learned that three  among workers at the hotel ; Jacob, and Yifarta, who are receptionists, and Isah, a security guard, have been arrested and taken into custody.

 Spokesman for the state police command, Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje,  a Superintendent of Police,  also confirmed this on Friday.

 ‘The command has so far apprehended three staff of the hotel and recovered drug and handset of the lady.
