Lagos Govt Discloses Plans To Relocate Computer Village From Ikeja To Abule Egba
The Lagos state Government has disclosed plans to relocate the Computer Village from Ikeja to Katangua in the Abule-Egba area of the city.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Governor Jide Sanwo-Olu’s Special Adviser on eGIS and Urban Development, Dr Olajide Babatunde, disclosed this on Saturday during the joint inspection and enforcement exercise carried out by Lagos state Building Control Agency , some law enforcement agencies and other relevant government agencies in charge of emergency related matters.
Babatunde also said the state Government is planning to reorganize markets in the state.
‘We are trying to reorganize all our markets. I will give an example, in Ikeja, we have the computer village, which is being relocated to Katangua.
Hence, it is not just the computer village alone, there are other activities that would happen in the Katangua market’ he submitted while adding that efforts already made on the Katangua market will materialize in the coming weeks.
‘We are moving those people who seem to be on the road in Ikeja and obstructing traffic to a proper market big enough with all the services, with a creche for their children, schools, playground, churches, mosques, storage room, warehouses, some accommodations and hotel facilities’ he added- Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
