Ex-Gov Abdulfatah Ahmed Confirms Visit To Ilorin EFCC Office, Says Its ‘Procedural Requirements’, ‘Not Unusual’

Sequel to media reports of his visit to the Ilorin Zonal Command office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday which had made him be in the spotlight, former governor of Kwara state, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, has clarified that it was only a routine one and procedural requirements.

His media aide, Alhaji Wahab Oba in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com explained that Alhaji Ahmed was invited by the EFCC, and he was in Ilorin to honour the invitation as he had done in the past and ‘still ready to do’.

‘I’ve always expressed my willingness to answer any query or question about my stewardship as a governor of the state.

So, my visit to the agency’s office today on invitation was in tandem with my readiness and preparedness to account for my stewardship’ Alhaji Ahmed was quoted to have submitted while adding that ‘there was nothing unusual about the invitation and honoring the anti -graft agency’s invitation today as always’ .
