Alleged Misappropriation Of Funds: Ex-Gov Ahmed Thanks Kwarans For Their Support
Former governor of Kwara state, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, has expressed profound appreciation to Kwarans at home and abroad, especially PDP officials at the state level ‘for standing firm for the truth whilst his undeserved ordeal lasted’.
In a statement he issued in Abuja which was made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Tuesday, the former governor said, ‘On behalf of my wife and the entire family, I thank the President of the 8th Nigerian Senate , Dr Abubakar Saraki, chairman and other executive members of the Kwara state PDP, party elders , stakeholders and the traditional rulers for their support and commitments to the rule of law, especially in ensuring that justice was not only done but seen to have been done’.
Alhaji Ahmed also noted that he has absolute confidence that the judiciary remains the last hope for the sustenance of democracy and justice for the people.
