Kebbi Gov’s Special Advisers Donate N20m To Support His Empowerment Programme

Kebbi state Forum of Special Advisers on Saturday announced decision to donate over twenty million naira in support of the empowerment programme of Governor Nasir Idris .

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the governor’s Special Adviser , Mr. Yahaya Sarki noted that this was the major outcome of the meeting held by the Special Advisers  at the Conference Hall, Cabinet Office, Birnin Kebbi, on Saturday

Chairman, Kebbi state Special Advisers Forum, KSSAF, Alhaji Kabir Sani Giant,  who presided over the meeting, noted  that the  kind gesture was in consonance with the policy thrust of the governor, Comrade, Dr.  Nasir Idris for a collective leadership that will help to ease things for the people especially during the current economic hardship.

‘This is aimed at bringing succour to the people, reducing poverty and supporting many families as well as empowering men and women to engage in commercial activities especially during the Holy Month of Ramadan’ the forum said.

The Special Advisers also constituted  11- member committee to determine the number of beneficiaries from all the 21 local Governments in the state, category of beneficiaries and the amount to be disbursed to each person. 

Alhaji Kabiru Sani Giant  praised this decision and  the existing unity of purpose and commended the members for their support and loyalty to the Kauran Gwandu -led administration. 

Giant restated the unflinching support of the Special Advisers for Governor, Comrade, Dr. Nasir Idris in order to achieve good governance and uplift the general wellbeing of the people. 

‘ I want to tell you with full confidence that the governor is proud of us and he is watching with keen interest what we are doing to support his development strides in Kebbi state. 

 What we have set out to do is in line with his empowerment agenda to reduce poverty and assist people particularly the masses in the society’ he said. 

Giant  thanked the governor for giving the Special Advisers the opportunity to serve the people.
