Speaker Danladi , Ishowo, Buraimoh, Wasiu Tejidini, Other Kwara APC Bigwigs In Attendance As Aishat Olatundun Gives Cash Assistance To 500 Constituents In Ilorin

A total of 500 people, who are members of Ajikobi/Alanamu state constituency, Kwara state, received cash assistance from Hon Babatunde Aishat Olatundun in Ilorin on Thursday.

Hon Babatunde Aishat Olatundun represents Ajikobi/Alanamu state constituency in the state House of Assembly.

As Nigerians face economic hardship, she has made provision for the cash assistance to ease things for her constituents and the beneficiaries from the seven Wards in the state constituency got N10,000 each.

The beneficiaries include Shuaib Salamatu Omoshalewa, and Abdulahi Abdul Qudus.

Hon Olatundun, who noted that she had done this to support and  complement Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s  sustainable efforts to deliver dividends of democracy and ensure good governance in the State of Harmony, added that she is committed to fulfilling her campaign promises.

The state lawmakers , who said she has taken necessary steps to impact the lives of her constituents positively since becoming their representative last year, listed her achievements to include provision of 40 solar streetlights and JAMB forms for constituents, and the construction of boreholes at  Alabama,Ogidi, Oloje and Ubandawaki Wards.

While praising the existing spirit of good friendship and cordiality   among the state lawmakers, Hon Olatundun also described  the head of the state legislature,  Speaker  Yakubu Danladi as a good and reliable leader  who has promoted love and unity among members of the state House of Assembly.

She specially commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the First Lady, Mrs Foluke AbdulRazaq for their support which , she noted,  had gotten political  office holders in the state encouraged  and made them to have an enabling environment to touch people’s lives positively.

Speaking in the same vein, the Deputy Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Hon Ojo Olayiwola commended the governor for  according to him changing the narrative by encouraging political office holders in the state to have and maintain supporters ,empower people and get things done without  nursing the fear of being victimized asserting that this was not the case before now.

Giving his speech, Speaker Yakubu Danladi thanked Ajikobi/Alanamu state constituency APC bigwigs, as well as women and young people in  the constituency for giving Hon Olatundun the needed support and cooperation which according to him made it possible for her to deliver dividends of democracy. 

He asserted that Hon Olatundun ‘is doing well’ while also commending  Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for giving the state House of Assembly  necessary supports.

The Speaker has also promised that  political office holders in the state will not disappoint the citizens,  saying ‘we will not disappoint Kwarans but move the state forward ‘.
