Ramadan1445: Saraki Congratulates Muslims, Urges Prayers For The Country
President of the 8th Nigerian Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has urged Nigerians across the country and in the Diaspora to commit themselves to the ideals and teachings of Islam during this holy month of Ramadan.
Saraki ,in a statement issued by his Press Officer on Local Matters, Mr Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir in Ilorin which was made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Sunday noted that fasting during the month of Ramadan being one of the five pillars of Islam, should be observed in total submission to the will of Allah.
The Muslim faithful should according to him endeavor to exercise total adherence to the pillars of Islam, which commands all to pray, fast, and give alms.
He specially urged well-to-do individuals to support the less privileged during this holy period of Ramadan ditto Islamic organizations.
He also urged Muslim faithful to spend the fasting period in prayer for Nigeria to overcome its challenges and flourish.
‘As we begin the holy month of Ramadan, let us all take time to reflect on the teachings of the holy Prophet. Let us see it as an opportunity to be kind to the needy and lend a helping hand to whoever and whenever we can.
