Gov AbdulRazaq, Nurudeen Adeyemi Mourn Oloro Of Oro’s Passing

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state on Saturday mourned the passing of a prominent traditional ruler in the state, the Oloro of Oro Kingdom, HRM , Oba AbdulRafiu Olaniyi Ajiboye Oyelaran 1.

The monarch had  joined his ancestors in the early hours of Saturday. 

The governor in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com  by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Rafiu Ajakaye  said the late monarch was a peacemaker, a father figure to all, and a king who was passionate about the development of his kingdom.

Governor AbdulRazaq added that the Oloro will be missed for his forthrightness, his commitment to peace and unity, and his successes. 

‘He prays that Almighty Allah will  grant forgiveness and Al-jannah Firdaus to Oba AbdulRafiu, and  give the people of Oro Kingdom and his family the strength to carry on his fine legacies’ the statement said.

Oro is one of the important towns in Irepodun local government , Kwara state and the late monarch was one of the top  traditional rulers in the State of Harmony.

A prominent indigene of  Kwara state, who is from Irepodun local government, Engineer (Chief) Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun has also  expressed grief over the shocking news of the passing of the Oloro of Oro Kingdom, Oba Abdulrafiu Ajiboye Oyelaran I.

 Chief Adeyemi , an aerospace engineer, who is based in the United States of America, in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com described the demise of the monarch as an end of a great era.

‘With  a deep sense of gratitude, we identify with the  sons and daughters of Oro Kingdom at this moment of grief over the passing of our Royal Father, Oba Abdulrafiu Ajiboye Oyelaran I. Indeed, we have lost a harbinger of peace and unity. 

For 22 years, the entire Kingdom enjoyed stable and relative peace and tranquility within and around its environs. The late King’s charismatic leadership attracted many positive developments and progress to the Kingdom at home, and even in the Diaspora. Kabiyesi, will truly be missed for his fatherly roles and leadership advice as regard nation- building, particularly at this time of challenges.
