Chief Imam Of Offa Delivers 2024 BCDF Ramadan Lecture In Iree, Urges Muslims To ‘Live A Life Of Impact’
As Muslims across the world look forward to celebrating the end of the Holy month of Ramadan, they have been urged to attach importance to living ‘a life of impact’, while also ensuring that they do not forget the significance of Ramadan and its numerous lessons, virtues and values
An Islamic cleric, Sheikh Muhideen Salman said this while giving his lecture during the 2024 Annual Ramadan Lecture organized by the Banik Community Development Foundation at the NUD open field, Iree, Osun state on Thursday.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the event was also attended by Sheikh Sulaiman Adeyemo, who is the Chief Imam of Iree and other Islamic clerics.
BCDF is the brainchild of Prince Adebayo Adeleke aka Banik, who served as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs during the Gboyega Oyetola administration.
‘It is not how far but how well. It is important to live a life of impact. You have to impact the lives of others positively . If you cannot do this, it will be considered as too bad. Good deeds are quite important and helping others has a lot of benefits’ he said.
Sheikh Muideen , who is the Chief Imam of Offa, also urged parents to avoid saying bad things to their children and rather ensure that they pray for them.
The popular Islamic preacher also said he decided to honour Prince Adebayo Adeleke’s invitation and attend the event despite his busy schedule because he was aware that the former commissioner ‘is in the good books of his people’ having impacted lives before getting appointed to government position and as a member of the state cabinet–Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
