2 Prominent Nigerians Die Shortly After Attending ‘Eid Prayer’ In Lagos, Abuja
Friends, subjects and family members were shocked at Osolo of Isolo, Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka’s passing on Wednesday.
The deceased monarch , who was the paramount ruler of Isolo Kingdom, had given no one signs of imminent departure from the planet earth, there was actually no cause for concern as he was hale and hearty and he had even led other dignitaries in Isolo, who are Muslims, to the eid praying ground for the 1445 AH eid-li-fitri prayer.
Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka, who has joined his ancestors at the age of 64, had his passing announced by the Executive Chairman, Isolo Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Olasoju Adebayo, on Wednesday.
‘I have the instruction of the Executive Governor of Lagos state, His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-olu, to formally announce the passing of the paramount ruler of Isolo Kingdom, Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka, Adeola Olushi III, today , 10th April, 2024.
He was aged 64.
He will be buried today at 4 p.m. at his palace, 3/5 Akinbaye Street, Isolo, according to Islamic rites.
May his soul rest in peace!’ the statement said.

Mohammed’s father , Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, a one-time governor of Kogi state , is a popular politician in the country.
