Kwara Govt Announces Receipt Of ‘Fresh’ Grains From FG , Says Distribution ‘ll Start Soon
Kwara state Government said it has received ‘fresh’ 12,058 bags of grains from the Federal Government including maize, millet, and sorghum.
‘The breakdowns of the 12,058 bags of grains are: 7,042 of 50kg bags of maize; 2,916 of 50kg bags of millet; and 2,100 of 50kg bags of sorghum (which are still being received as at today)’ Mrs. Bola Olukoju , who is the state Commissioner for Communications, noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Thursday.
The state government has also announced the receipt of 8,700 bags of rice (25kg) while adding that the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, former Senator Abubakar Kyari would be flagging off the distribution of the grains in the state very soon — in manners that would follow the distribution template sent by the Federal Government.
