Osun APC Says New State Logo Poorly Done , ‘Nebulous’

Osun state APC  has condemned the new logo approved for the state by the Governor Ademola Adeleke administration submitting that ‘it is far below what a state logo should be, in all ramifications’ .

The state  APC chairman , Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, in a statement issued  in Osogbo and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the party’s Director of Media and Information, Chief Kola Olabisi, has also called it ‘a badly packaged logo’.

The party claimed that the governor  has presented  what looks an herbalist’s mystic, nebulous and indistinguishable item as the official logo of the state alleging that it was one of the adverse effects of alleged failure to hold regular state executive meetings ‘where each of the commissioners and Special Advisers would have had the latitude to critique the herbalist’s tray before its presentation to the public’.

APC also said the logo’s  aesthetic value ‘is below zero’ while opining that a new logo should not have been made a priority for now.

‘It is not our concern or business for you to have embarked on the total deletion of the legacies of your clandestine political mentor, but the fact remains that we, as a party, won’t open our eyes and watch you as you destroy our common patrimony.

The episode of the  junky, mediocre, rubbishy, shoddy and trash called a logo in the estimation of Governor Adeleke and his co-travellers is an indication that they are making the state a laboratory because of lack of not knowing what to do by the Chief driver of the state who has totally abdicated his statutory duties for mundane issues that won’t impact positively on the lives of the people of the state.

If a state executive can find it impossible to know and present a befitting state logo, it is a confirmation that his much touted N100 billion infra projects would be a mere mirage which would die before delivery.

Our position as a party is that changing of the state logo should not be the priority of any serious and thinking government by this time in the history of the state when the citizens are finding it difficult to afford three square meals due to the obvious sleazy and gimcrack policies of the government’ the statement added-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
