Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Sacks LG TIC Chairmen
The governor of Kwara state, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has sacked chairmen of the Transition Implementation Committees (TICs) in charge of the 16 local governments in the state.
Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs, and Community Development, Mrs. Modupe Iyabo Adekeye, who announced this in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the Directors of Personnel Management are to take charge of the administration of their respective local governments ahead of the local elections scheduled to hold in September this year.
‘This effectively dissolves the Transition Implementation Committees (TICs) earlier appointed to manage the affairs of the councils ahead of the conduct of local government elections’ the statement added.
