Gov Idris Inaugurates Mosque, Visits Skill Acquisition Center In Illo
Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi state on Friday inaugurated a renovated Mosque in Illo, Bagudo local Government, and also visited the skill acquisition center that was built by a member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Bello Dallatu Kaoje, who represents Bagudo/Suru federal constituency.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted that Dr Idris was accompanied by one of his predecessors, Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari, SSG, Alhaji Yakubu Bala Tafida, Head of Service, Alhaji Sufyanu Garba Bena, some commissioners, Special Advisers, and top politicians in the state. They also observed the Friday prayer at the mosque in question after its inauguration.
The Chief Imam of the Mosque prayed for the sustenance of peace, unity, and security in the state and the country as a whole at the instance of the governor, Hon. Bello Dallatu Kaoje, and members of his entourage.
Governor Nasir Idris also visited the skill acquisition center built and equipped by Hon. Bello Kaoje Dallatu.
The skill acquisition center, located in the middle of Illo town where young people including females are undergoing training comprises sections for computer training, tailoring, soap, vulcanization, cream, catering, wheel alignment and balancing, hair salon, and barbing.
Governor Nasir Idris told those undergoing training at the computer section that his administration would continue to initiate and support skill acquisition programmes for youth development.
Healso commended the lawmaker for what he described as a laudable initiative to empower the young people.
‘We thank the lawmaker for his consistent commitment to changing the lives of people. You have done it now and we believe you will continue to do it’ he said.
Earlier, one of the tutors at the computer section, Murtala Usman, appreciated the governor’s presence at the center. while urging him to support the center because of its importance when it comes to youth empowerment.
