Osun APC Demands Gov Adeleke’s Resignation…Cites Failure To Sing National Anthem Correctly

Osun APC on Saturday asked Governor Ademola Adeleke to immediately resign from his position submitting that he has become a constant embarrassment to the people of the state among the comity of the states.

The state  APC  chairman , Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, in a statement issued  in Osogbo  on Saturday and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the party’s Director of Media and Information, Chief Kola Olabisi, claimed that the people of the state have witnessed more than enough embarrassments from Governor Adeleke in the eighteen months that he has spent in office.

Lawal added that ‘the latest of the embarrassments that Governor Adeleke obnoxiously earned for the state which parades the highest number of tertiary institutions after Ogun state was his inability to sing  the first stanza of the old National Anthem, which the country has reverted to despite making use of a teleprompter’.

The state APC chairman postulated that if the viral video of Governor Adeleke wherein he was unable to sing the old National Anthem is anything to go by, ‘Osun state is in a serious irredeemable ignominy as the development has earned for the hitherto highly respected state on the basis of education, a ridiculous credential that was orchestrated by the supposed number one citizen of the state’.

Lawal added that he was yet to come to terms with what the media managers of Governor Adeleke who leaked the video of the ‘corporate embarrassment’ wanted to achieve by exposing the alleged inadequacy of the governor.

He also noted that of great concern was the fact that some of the hangers-on and sycophants who were with the governor were even applauding him by laughing heartily which was suggestive of telling him that he had done well when obviously, the reverse was the case.

‘The displayed inability of Governor Adeleke to either sing or read out the now adopted old National Anthem is a serious issue which should be of concern to the right-thinking indigenes of Osun state wherever they may be residing across the world.

As a political party, we view the development of the inability of Governor Adeleke to sing the National Anthem as an embarrassment to all the stakeholders in the project called Osun state because of its debilitating image among the comity of the states making up the Federation of the Federal Republic of Nigeria’ he said..

The party also alleged that the state executive council has failed to hold regular meetings.

‘We make bold to state that the Osun state of today under  Governor Adeleke’s leadership  remains a state where holding of weekly executive meetings are not only an aberration but held in topmost secrecy for obvious reasons of safeguarding the lapses of the governor to face the crowd and address them.

It was also for this reason that the shabbily planned and executed second edition of ‘Ipade Imole’ held in the seventeenth month in the life of the  Adeleke administration in Ilesa recently ended up uneventfully by entertaining complimentary praises from five packaged entities, leaving out genuine members of the public who had obtained tallies to enable them to probe the governor.

It is for these reasons and many more that we, as a party, are demanding for the immediate resignation of Governor Ademola Adeleke for his incapability and incapacity in the office’ the  state APC added-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
