Losing Footing At Eagles Square Not ‘Matter Of Concern’, It Was ‘Swagger’ And ‘Idobale’ For Democracy-President Tinubu
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu , who lost his footing for a moment while entering the vehicle that was arranged for the review of military parade at the Eagles Square, Abuja on Wednesday, has submitted that it was not a matter of concern.
Recall that President Bola Tinubu had led top government functionaries and other Nigerians including members of the diplomatic corps to the Eagle Square for the programme held to mark the 2024 Democracy Day and the 25th anniversary of the nation’s uninterrupted Democracy .
The President, who was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, had arrived at the venue at about 10:03am and he was received by Vice President Kashim Shettima and other top government officials.
He thereafter took salute from the Commander of the Brigade of Guards, stood at the soapbox as the national anthem was sang, and he later entered the vehicle that conveyed him round the square..
The president however lost his footing for a moment while entering the vehicle but quickly regained his balance . Security agents providing security for the president quickly helped him to his feet and he later waved from the vehicle as he reviewed the military parade .
There was a broadcast live of the event by the TVC News

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the president made jocular remarks about the incident in question on Wednesday night during the state Banquet Dinner that was held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He referred to losing his footing as a ‘swagger’ and ‘idobale’ for democracy.
‘Early this morning, I had a swagger and it’s on social media. They were confused about whether I was doing Buga or doing babariga, But, It is a day to celebrate democracy while doing ‘Idobale’ for the day.
I am a traditional Yoruba man, and I did my ‘Idobale’ he said.
‘Idobale’ is a Yoruba word that means ‘prostration’ in English language.
Prostration means lying stretched out on the ground with one’s face downwards-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
