Sallah : Gov Nasir Idris Congratulates Muslims, Preaches Unity…Urges Prayers For ‘Our Leaders’

As Muslims across the globe are celebrating the 1445 AH  Eid-el-Kabir, Kebbi state governor, Dr Nasir Idris,  the Kauran Gwandu, has called on  Kebbi state people to sustain fervent prayers for lasting peace and unity in the state and Nigeria in general.

The governor  in  a statement issued in Birni Kebbi  and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com  by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Yahaya Sarki,  wished  the people of Kebbi state  a happy  Eid-el-Adha.

The Kauran Gwandu urged them to fervently pray for the country while emphasizing the need for divine interventions in the affairs of the state and Nigeria in general.

‘We also need to pray for the even socio-economic development of our own dear state and the nation.

We are also fully committed to consolidating the myriads of achievements recorded in the last one year.

We will remain unwaveringly committed to fulfilling our own side of the social contract with the people of Kebbi state.

Our modest achievements recorded so far would not have been possible without the routine support and prayers from all the cross sections of the people of the state.

While fully recommitting myself and my APC-led government, I am urging the good people of the state who have remained reliable pillars and partners with respect to our own cause of taking the state to greater heights not to relent’  the governor added.

Dr. Idris also appealed to  pilgrims from the state and Nigeria at large to intensify personal prayers, prayers for their families,  the state and Nigeria in general.

He noted that the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are most auspicious for pungent prayers, saying ,’myself and all pilgrims will especially leverage the Arafat day for such prayers’.
