Rep Ekene Adams Dies At 39…He’s The 2nd House Of Reps Member To Die In 7 Days!

  A member of the House of Representatives, Rep. Ekene Abubakar Adams, is dead.

Until his death on Tuesday, Adams had represented Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency , Kaduna state in the House of Representatives.

Spokesman for the House of Representatives, Rep Akin Rotimi, disclosed in a statement he issued on Tuesday that Adams died at the age of 39.

‘The House of Representatives extends heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, constituents of our dear colleague, as well as the good people and Government of Kaduna state.

May God grant his family and loved ones the strength to bear this irreparable loss, and may his soul find rest in the bosom of the Almighty’ he said.

A former football player, Adams had at different times served as  General Manager of  Remo Stars and Kada City before becoming a member of the House of Representatives in 2023.

 Adams was until his death on Tuesday, the Chairman of the House Committee on Sports.

The House of Representatives has lost two members in 7 days!
