For The Second Time In 91 Months, Senator Ali Ndume Removed As Senate Principal Officer
Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume has been removed as Chief Whip of the senate and Senator Tahir Monguno has been named as his replacement.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the decision taken by the senate on Wednesday was sequel  to the  letter sent to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio  which was jointly signed by the APC National Chairman, Alhaji  Umar Ganduje and the  National Secretary, Barrister Bashir Ajibola in which they had recommended Ndume’s removal and also talked about his continued membership of the ruling party. .

This request was put to voice votes by the Senate President, and it was supported by all the APC senators.
This is the second time that Ndume would get removed as principal officer of the senate in 91 months.
Ndume, who represents Borno South, was removed as Majority Leader of the senate on January 10, 2017, during the 8th senate and Senator Ahmad Lawan was named as his replacement.
