President Tinubu Will Shorten France Trip To Swear In Kekere-Ekun As Acting CJN Tomorrow
President Bola Tinubu will reduce the duration of his trip to France and return to the country to preside over the swearing -in ceremony of Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as acting Chief Justice of Nigeria tomorrow, Friday, August 23, 2024..
The swearing-in ceremony is expected to be held at the State House Council Chambers,.
Justice Kekere-Ekun will succeed Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, who bowed out earlier in the day.
‘The President will swear in Justice Ariwoola’s successor at the State House Council Chambers on August 23, 2024’ Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale submitted while noting that the president has also congratulated Ariwoola, whose stint in the judiciary was described as a ‘successful public service career’.
He also commended the former CJN for his service to the nation and congratulated him for his successful public service career.
