Kebbi Governor Receives Honorary Fellowship From ANAN In Abuja

The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) has awarded its prestigious Honorary Fellowship to Kebbi State governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu).

,A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted that he received the fellowship award during the association’s 29th Annual Conference. which had as its theme ‘Advancing Accounting Excellence in a Changing World’.

The event  that took place in Abuja on Tuesday was attended by  dignitaries from across the country.

Governor Idris was represented by his Deputy, Alhaji Umar Abubakar Tafida, who led a high-powered delegation to the event including the Head of Service, Alhaji Sufyanu Garba Bena, the State APC Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Kana-Zuru, Commissioners, Special Advisers, and the State Accountant General, Alhaji Bello Ibrahim Nahaliku, among others.

The Honorary Fellowship was awarded to the governor in recognition of his dedication to public service, his support for the association, and his administration’s commitment to transparency and accountability in Kebbi State.

Receiving the award on behalf of the governor, Tafida expressed gratitude to ANAN and reaffirmed the Nasir  Idris administration’s unwavering support for the association.
