
Lagos state PDP gubernatorial candidate Hon Olajide Adediran ‘Jandor’ and his running mate, Hon Funke Akindele visited 49-year-old widow, Dorothy Dike and her son, Osinachi Ndukwe in Lagos on Saturday.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned Hon Adediran and the Lagos state Deputy Governorship candidate were accompanied by associates and aides.
Dorothy and Osinachi had made the news last week when a video showing them weeping profusely as their only vehicle which they had bought on hire purchase for N1.8.million was being auctioned off .
It was gotten at an auction price of N450,000.
Osinachi , 31, who couldn’t hide his emotions, had narrated how he became a commercial driver due to unemployment.
Ndukwe’s vehicle was impounded by the Lagos state government and auctioned off because he violated traffic rules.
In a video posted on Twitter, Osinachi Ndukwe had during the said visit again narrated his ordeal and how his daughter died while he was in prison and he still ended up forfeiting his vehicle to the government.
Responding, Adediran had said, ‘The purpose for which a government is in power is to see to our welfare. That is not to say that if you go on the wrong side of the law, you won’t be penalized. But what we are saying is that we don’t want a penalty that will take people’s livelihood away from them…We have come to see how we can give succour to you’-Team@orientactualmags.com
