Gov Bala Mohammed In Attendance As Gov Fubara Presides Over Swearing In Ceremony Of New Rivers LG Chairmen In Port Harcourt
Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has sworn in the new Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of the 23 local governments in the state.
Recall that the local government elections held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, had produced Action Peoples Party as winner of 22 chairmanship seats while the Action Alliance got one seat.
Chairman of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC), Adolphus Enebeli announced the election results in Port Harcourt on Saturday evening.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the swearing -in ceremony held at the Executive Council Chamber of the Government House, Port Harcourt, started at 4.20 pm.
It was attended by Chairman of PDP Governors’ Forum, who is also the governor of Bauchi State, Alhaji Bala Mohammed.
