
The preliminary stages of the 2024 Tax Club Quiz competition (TCQC) organized for both public and private high schools in the State of Harmony every year by the Kwara state Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has ended and six (6) schools are now left to participate in the final round.
Recall that the preliminary stages of the Competition held from June 24 to July 4, 2024, had eighty-three (83) out of the one hundred and fifty-four (154) registered schools taking the quiz at the comfort of their respective schools while twelve schools (12) qualified for the semi-final stage.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Wednesday noted that 6 schools got to the final stage sequel to an online Computer -Based Test (CBT) with appropriate back-end monitoring by members of the KW-IRS Tax Club Advocacy Committee alongside the representative of the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Mrs. Roseline Ayansola between Tuesday, 8th and Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
‘The schools in question are Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College, Asa Dam; Government Secondary School, Lafiagi; Shepherd Secondary School, Lafiagi; Government Day Secondary School, Gaa-Akanbi; Kwara State College of Education Model Secondary School, Oro; and Anglican Boys’ Academy, Oro.
