Kwara Prominent Politician, Christopher Ayeni, Dies In Road Crash
A prominent politician in Kwara State, Chief Christopher Tunji Ayeni, has died in a fatal road crash.
Kwara State APC members, neighbours, family members and friends, spoke in sepulchral tones and had mournful facial expressions as news of the death of Chief Ayeni spreads on Thursday.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Chief Ayeni, an indigene of Isapa, Ekiti local government, Kwara State, had left his hometown for Ilorin but sadly lost his life in the Kabba-Ilorin Expressway crash that occurred at Igbaja T- junction on Thursday.
The late Chief Ayeni, who left PDP for APC a few months ago, at different times served as Deputy Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Commissioner for Agriculture, Special Adviser, Deputy Chief of Staff, Government House, Ilorin, and Kwara PDP State Secretary.
The late Ayeni, a civil engineer, was also a veteran House of Reps aspirant.
The deceased politician was until his death on Thursday, the Akogun of Isapa Land.
