EFCC Stops Bobrisky From Traveling To US, Forces Him To Deboard At Lagos Airport

Transgender woman and a LGBT personality, Idris Okuneye, who is popularly called Bobrisky, has disclosed that he was forced to deboard after getting into an aircraft at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja and was about leaving for Amsterdam on Thursday night .

Bobrisky added that he was subsequently detained by immigration officers.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that he made this disclosure in an Instagram post while alleging that he sustained injuries during an altercation with one of the immigration officers.

Bobrisky alleged that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was responsible for his detention.

‘Nigerians help me, EFCC just arrested me. I’m badly injured’ he wrote.

Recall that Bobrisky was intercepted at the Sème border while allegedly attempting to flee the country on October  22 .

Recall that Bobrisky had in April this year gotten a 6-month sentence for abusing the naira and it was without an option of a fine..

Recall also that he was earlier arrested and detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.   He was invited  sequel to the video  that was taken while he was spraying new naira notes at the premiere of Eniola Ajao’s movie titled, ‘Ajakaju’, on March 24, 2024.

The event  was held at FilmOne Circle Mall, Lekki, Lagos,

Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court , Lagos, had declared Bobrsiky  convicted on Friday, April 12, 2024.

The 33-year-old Instagram celebrity left the Kirikiri Correctional Centre, Lagos on Monday, August 5.

Although he was officially at  the Kirikiri  correctional centre for his prison time , media reports later alleged that Bobrisky spent only three weeks  there before being discreetly taken to a private location.

Bobrisky had, in a voice note made public  by controversial social critic, Martins Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, allegedly  claimed that  he bribed EFCC officers with N15million  to drop money laundering charges against him.

The anti-graft agency had not only denied the allegations but also set up a committee to investigate the matter.

The Director of Public Affairs,  EFCC , Wilson Uwajaren, had  on Thursday  said during a press conference  that Bobrisky could face a fresh charge from the commission if the allegations against its officials  are discovered to be untrue-Team@orientactualmags.com   Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
