Osun PDP Announces Death Of Boripe LG Chairman, Offers Condolences

Osun State PDP has announced the death of Apostle Owolabi Omotayo Okeranti , who was until his demise on Saturday, the chairman of the party in Boripe Local Government.

The party noted that this ‘death announcement’ was done ‘with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss’.

‘Apostle Okeranti was a  devoted political and community leader, a successful businessman, and a passionate farmer who dedicated his life to  service to humanity. His leadership and commitment to our great party cannot be controverted, and his demise has left a gaping hole in our midst. Baba was indeed an apostle of peace!

We recall his sterling contribution to the growth and development of our party in Boripe Local Government, as well as his selfless service as a Board Member of the Boripe LGEA till he breathed his last today’ the state PDP chairman, Hon Sunday Bisi, submitted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Saturday.

Osun State PDP also noted that party activities have been suspended in the state for the next 3 days ‘as a mark of respect for our departed chairman’ while adding that ‘party flags will also be flown at half-staff within the same period at all local government offices of our great party in the state’.

‘We extend our heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of Apostle Okeranti, the PDP family in Boripe Local Government, the C&S church, where he was a leader at Iragbiji District, as well as iragbiji community as a whole. May God grant all of us the strength to bear this irreparable loss
