Kebbi Meat Industry: NIPC Officials To Lead JBS S.A Team To Birni Kebbi Next Tomorrow

‘The recent coordinated foreign trips by top officials of Kebbi state government have continued to yield positive investment results.
Barely a week after a follow-up visit to Kebbi State by the Ambassador of Indonesia which brought about significant results in respect of livestock development; top executives of a Brazilian conglomerate in livestock development will arrive in Birnin Kebbi on Monday, December 9, 2024, to explore avenues for investment and other collaborations to advance the frontiers of cooperation for the benefit of Kebbi State’ Governor Nasir Idris’ Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki disclosed in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Saturday.
The visit by JBS S.A – one of world’s largest meat processing companies, the statement added, is a follow-up to the visit made to Brazil earlier this year by a delegation of Kebbi State government headed by the Deputy Governor, Alhaji Umar Abubakar during which investment in livestock development was highlighted while noting that officials of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), will lead the team from the Brazilian Company to the state to concretize collaboration and open new vista in livestock development, meat processing and animal health.
‘Kebbi, with its vast reputation as a key hub for livestock activities in Africa is emerging to be seen worldwide as a priority destination for serious investors.
Companies that have been making inquiries about the agricultural and livestock potentials of Kebbi state hope to evaluate such potentials to bring in technology, current advancements, huge resources and expertise to Kebbi state for the benefit of all parties.
During the visit, the team from the NIPC to be headed by the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer, Hajiya Aisha Rimi and the Brazilian investors would pay a courtesy call on Governor Nasir Idris and also visit key areas of livestock development to identify areas of interest and do the necessary evaluation’ the statement added.
