Gov Dikko Radda Carries Out Minor Cabinet Reshuffle

Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has carried out a minor cabinet reshuffle  which, he noted, is aimed at optimising the performance of his administration.

Malik Anas has been appointed as Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohamed noted in a statement he issued in Katsina on Monday.

The new commissioner, Anas received a Master’s  Degree in Business Administration from Bayero University, Kano.

He is a one- time Katsina State Accountant General, and member of different professional bodies including Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Financial Reporting of Nigeria among others.

Also, Bello Kagara, who heads the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, will now oversee the Ministry of Finance.

 ‘Hon. Bashir Tanimu Gambo, who previously served as Finance Commissioner, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

The cabinet reshuffle also had Yusuf Rabi’u Jirdede moving from the Ministry of Special Duties to assume leadership of the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Investment, while Adnan Nahabu transitions from Commerce, Trade and Investment will head the Ministry of Special Duties.

Governor Radda directs the newly appointed and reassigned commissioners to maintain excellent service.
