President Tinubu ‘Actively’ In Charge, He ‘ll Return To Nigeria After Easter-Presidency
President Bola Tinubu is actively in charge and has continued to oversee and manage the affairs of the nation notwithstanding being outside the country since April 2, 2025, the presidency, has submitted.
The president would be returning to the country after the Easter celebration, the presidency added.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the president’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga noted in a statement he issued on Thursday that Tinubu, who travelled from Paris to London at the weekend, ‘remains fully engaged in Nigeria’s governance’ and also in ‘constant communication with key government officials’.
The statement added that the president has given ‘directives to security chiefs to address emerging threats in some parts of the country’ while noting that his absence ‘is temporary and in line with the communicated timeframe of approximately two weeks’.
‘He is expected back in Abuja after the Easter holidays’ Onanuga said.
He also urged the public to remain calm while assuring citizens that ‘governance proceeds without interruption’.
‘The President’s commitment to his duties remains unwavering, and his administration continues to function effectively under his leadership’ he said.
‘The President left Paris for London at the weekend and has maintained constant communication with key government officials, overseeing critical national matters, including directives to security chiefs to address emerging threats in some parts of the country.
His return to Abuja and the resumption of duties at Aso Villa will follow the conclusion of the Easter holiday.
