Gov Adeleke Wins City People Magazine’s ‘Most Influential Governor Of The Year’ Award
Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has been named as City People Magazine’s ‘Most Influential Governor of the Year in Infrastructure’.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the governor’s spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed on Friday noted that Media Techniques Ltd, Publisher of City People Magazine, made this known in a letter sent to the governor which was signed by Mr Oluseye Kehinde, the Publisher and Editor-in-chief.
Media Techniques Ltd noted that the award was in recognition of the giant strides made by the governor especially the ‘infrastructure revolution’ in Osun State.
‘I write to inform you that you will be honoured with the Most Impactful Governor of the Year Award (In Infrastructure) at the forthcoming 2025 City People Awards For Excellence. This is in appreciation of your giant strides as it concerns the Infrastructure Revolution in Osun State.
City People Awards For Excellence is an annual event that has been going on for the past 29 years. It is meant to reward and celebrate outstanding Personalities, Public office holders, Politicians and organizations who have excelled in their various areas of endeavor.
The award ceremony holds on Sunday, May 25th, in Lagos’ the statement added.
Recall that Governor Adeleke had won several other awards which include; New Telegraph Newspaper’s Governor of the Year Award (Health); Vanguard Newspaper’s Governor of the Year award; Leadership Newspaper’s Best Governor of the Year Award; Osun Defender Newspaper’s Leadership Award; 2024 Best Civil Service-Loving Governor in Nigeria Award by the Nigeria Civil Service Union; Champion Newspaper’s Man of the Year Award for Good Governance; NELFUND Award of Excellence among others.
