NACOE Provost Promises Improved Synergy Between Army And NCS During Visit To Kwara Area Controller In Ilorin

The newly appointed Provost of the Nigerian Army College of Education (NACOE), Ilorin, Brigadier General E.C. Echebiwe, has promised an improved synergy between the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Customs Service while noting that the recent upgrading of the Nigerian Army School, Ilorin to the Nigerian Army College of Education (NACOE) stands as an advantage to both the military and paramilitary personnel.

DSC S.M Suleiman, who is the spokesman for Kwara Area Command of the NCS, noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that Brigadier General E.C. Echebiwe said this during his visit to the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller F.M. Ojeifo, at the Command Headquarters in Ilorin on Wednesday.

While emphasizing the need to strengthen existing collaboration between the army and the NCS, Echebiwe added that NACOE now offers a range of academic programmes designed to benefit both military and paramilitary personnel including a Degree course in affiliation with the Tai Solarin University of Education, NCE Programme, and specialized Schools such as the School of Arts and Social Sciences and the School of Vocational and Technical Education.

He has also promised to give necessary support and consideration to Customs personnel who are willing to take up courses at NACOE.

Giving his speech,  the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller F.M. Ojeifo, commended the Nigerian Army for its commitment to educational advancement and for creating opportunities for Customs personnel to acquire academic qualifications while in service.

 He acknowledged the longstanding partnership between the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Customs Service in Ilorin and expressed confidence that the collaboration would continue to thrive under the new leadership of the College.
