62nd Independence Day: Kwara PDP Assembly Candidate, Taiye Alaya Urges Unity Of Effort In Building ‘Stronger’ Nigeria
As Nigerians at home and abroad celebrate the nation’s 62nd independence day anniversary, Ilorin South PDP House of Assembly candidate , Hon Taiye Alaya, has called for ‘unity of effort’ in building a better and stronger Nigeria.
Alaya in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Saturday while wishing Nigerians a happy Independence Day , also urged them ‘to recommit their energies to building a better Nigeria’.
‘Today, we are celebrating the 62nd independence anniversary of our beloved nation. We stand today with our feet planted firmly in the present, but with our gaze both on the past and towards our future.
Looking back at the last 62 years, we have faced steep challenges, yet, we have marked great progress. What we have overcome in the past gives us the confidence and the courage to believe that we can achieve even more as we cast our eyes on the future.
As Nigerians, let us recommit our energies to building a better Nigeria from our various constituencies and states, and rededicating ourselves to the vision of our nationalists ,who saw greatness in this country ,and worked assiduously to advance it.
I ask you all to remain committed to our highest national purpose so that we may continue to strengthen our national institutions and our very country.
I congratulate all Nigerians on this 62nd independence anniversary and urge our people in Ilorin South, Kwara state and across the country to come along in the march to the RESCUE Nigeria with the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Long live, Nigeria’ he said- Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us? Do you want us to cover your event or programme? Kindly send SMS to 08059100286, 09094171980. Thank you
