KS2PCC Members Hold Important Meeting In Ajase-Ipo, Pay Thank-You Visit To Kwara PDP Chairman, 2 Others In Ilorin
Members of Kwara South 2024 PDP Councillorship Candidates (KS2PCC) are leading the charge in respect of efforts to make the leading opposition party, the PDP, regain political relevance in the region and the state as a whole.
They gathered in Ajase-Ipo for an important meeting on June 14, 2025, during which they mapped out strategies and discussed measures that would be taken to achieve the desired outcomes.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the group’s Coordinator, Hon Raphael Bamidele noted that members of the party were also urged to participate in the ongoing registration of new members and ‘membership renewal’ exercise being carried out by the state PDP.
Members of the Kwara South 2024 PDP Councillorship Candidates have also paid a ‘thank-you visit’ to the state PDP Chairman, Hon Babatunde Mohammed, Kwara South PDP Senate aspirant, Professor Muritala Awodun and Dr Audu Idowu at their respective offices.
They visited the party big wigs for their support for members of the group while also specially appreciating them for supporting party activities.
‘We began by visiting the Bobagunwa of Osi Kingdom, Chief (Dr.) Audu Idowu at his residence in Ilorin, Kwara State on the 9th of June, 2025.
We got a warm reception, Dr. Audu appreciated the timely visit and urged us to continue the good work of promoting party activities while promising continued support for the party.
Hon. Raphael Bamidele, appreciated Dr Audu for all he has been doing for the progress of the party without demanding anything in the process while praying that he will achieve greater heights in his endeavors.
In continuation of the ‘appreciation visit’, on the 10th of June, 2025, the Exco and the Stakeholders paid a thank-you visit to Professor Muritala Awodun in his office on Fate Road, Ilorin, Kwara State.
Professor Awodun appreciated the visit and promised to support the group’s programmes noting that it would be an effective channel to reach out to the various Wards in Kwara South.
Earlier in the day, members of the group paid a similar visit to the Kwara State PDP Chairman, a former Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon.
