Gov Bala Urges Cabinet Members To Stay Out Of Politics, Avoid Inessential Trips

 Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has asked members of his cabinet to stay out of politics at least for now noting that they can only do that when the time is ripe.

He has however asked whoever cannot keep this in abeyance to resign from his or her position.

The governor also urged government officials to prioritize their responsibilities and focus on addressing the state’s challenges instead of engaging in activities that are not important .

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Governor Bala, who said this during the opening session of the State Executive Council meeting held at the Council Chamber of the Government House, Bauchi on Thursday, also asked the cabinet members not to travel to Abuja or outside the country unless it is absolutely necessary to do so.

‘There is a need for prudent management of the state’s limited resources, given the current financial difficulties facing the state’ he said.

Governor Bala Mohammed lamented the inability of the state government to secure financial interventions and grants from the federal government while accusing the Tinubu administration of bias.

‘The federal government has shown bias against the states governed by opposition parties. Some states are getting preferential treatment’ he said.
