Ilorin West LG Elders Praise Gov Abdulrazaq’s Transformation Agenda, Urge Continued Support For His Administration

The Ilorin West Council of Elders under Alh Baba Zubair Olosasa’s chairmanship on Thursday urged continued support for the policies and programmes of the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration noting that this would help to ensure uninterrupted delivery of good governance and dividends of democracy in the state.

The Council of Elders in a joint statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by Alhaji Hassan S. Gegele, General Secretary and Alhaji Baba Alapa, Publicity Secretary, praised the governor’s outstanding leadership and transformative projects since his administration came into being six years ago.

The governor, the Council of Elders, noted, has recorded ‘outstanding leadership and transformative achievements’ across key sectors and this has significantly improved the living standards of residents of Kwara State.

‘Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has done well when it comes to provision of infrastructure projects.

His initiatives in respect of infrastructure, Roads, Education, Healthcare, Agriculture, and Human Empowerment have brought immense progress and development to our state, making our dear state to get nicknamed as ‘Mini London’ and we are happy that we are witnessing progress’ the council of Elders submitted.

They have also pledged continued loyalty to the governor while describing his leadership as purposeful and people-centered..

‘We stand solemnly behind Your Excellency, and wherever you go, we will be there to support you. We urge all members of the APC and other Kwara citizens to rally behind His Excellency’s leadership, because it is important to acknowledge the positive impact of his administration’ the statement added.

The Council of Elders also urged continued support for the Abdulrazaq administration while offering their condolences to the governor on the passing of former president Muhammadu Buhari.

‘We offer our deepest condolences on the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljanatul Firdaus.
