Sex Gone Wrong: Female Student Arrested As Varsity Lecturer Collapses, Dies In Kogi Hotel

Dr Olabode Abimbola Ibikunle, a senior lecturer at Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, Kogi State, has died after engaging in sex act with Gloria, a female student at the institution.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Dr Olabode Ibikunle had taken the student in question to a hotel in Anyigba on Tuesday, July 15, 2025,  where they engaged in a game that requires no referee.

Things however went awry as the lecturer suddenly felt unwell after they had sex and he collapsed.

Spokesman for Kogi State Police Command SP William Aya, who confirmed the incident on Friday, described it as unfortunate while adding that an autopsy has been conducted to know what caused the death of the lecturer.

The hotel manager, Moses Friday, he added, reported that a 22-year-old 200-level student at the institution, Gloria Samuel, rushed to the reception to alert the staff that Dr Ibikunle had collapsed after they had sex.

The deceased lecturer was rushed to a hospital where he was declared as a brought- in -dead patient.

SP Williams noted that investigation is ongoing and its outcome will determine further actions.

The affected student, Gloria Samuel has reportedly been arrested and taken into custody while the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).
